Northern Ireland golfer Graeme McDowell got off to a strong start with opening round of 68, to finish day one of the Honda Classic two under.
McDowell fired a solid front nine, with three birdies and six pars to make the turn in 32, before dropping a shot at the par four tenth.
He would recover the shot again at the 13th before another bogey at the 14th left him two over par.
With a run of four pars to finish, it leaves him two shots off the lead and well in the hunt for the 1,008,000US dollar first prize.
