Northern Ireland ice-skater Jenna McCorkell has bounced back from her Olympic disappointment by securing her highest ever placing at a World Championships.
McCorkell placed 15th out of a field of 55 competitors after her short programme in Torino, Italy on Friday.
She also scored her second-highest score of the year.
The result is a boost for the Coleraine skater, who suffered a major disappointment at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver when she fell mid-way through her short programme and failed to qualify for the finals.
"I am ecstatic with the way I skated", she said on Friday.
"My combination which let me down in Vancouver was spot on and I had a really great skate."
