Magee goes into the fight as the world champion having had his interim title upgraded by the authorities, but he wants to prove he's worthy of the honour.

"It's a big night for me and amazing to be going in as World Champion," he told UTV.

Magee described his opponent as "probably one of the best middleweights of the last decade" and added: "Before I was a fan of him and now I am in the ring with him, going to punch his lights out".

Magee goes into the fight looking to make it three wins in a row in a Danish ring.

But Kessler, who's the best known sportsman in the country, is expected to make life difficult for the Lisburn man.
