Linfield maintained their lead at the top of the Carling Premiership with a 1-1 draw with fellow title challengers Cliftonville.
Cliftonville 1 - 1 Linfield
Mark McAllister's first-half header had the Blues in front but Cliftonville substitute took just 60 seconds to announce his arrival from the bench when he pounced to secure a point for the hosts.
Curtis Allen had the game's first chance - producing a save from John Connolly - and Philip Lowry headed straight at the goalkeeper from point-blank range as the Blues enjoyed a lively opening at the venue where they were thumped 4-0 on their last visit.
McAllister's goal arrived after 24 minutes when his flick-on from a Billy-Joe Burns free-kick drifted across the six-yard box and dropped into the far corner. Redemption of sorts for the man who was sent off in that loss earlier in the campaign.
Cliftonville failed to overly test Linfield keeper Alan Blayney for the majority of the contest and, just 60 seconds after Jamie Tomelty had headed against the bar at the other end, the Reds were level.
Ryan Catney whipped the free-kick in from the right and Boyce reacted quickest in a busy goalmouth to fire a clever volley home.
