Linfield's Michael Carvill scored the only goal of the match against Crusaders at Seaview, giving David Jeffrey's side a one-nil edge over the Crues.
Meawhile at the Showgrounds, DC were scoreless against Ballymena United until the second half, when Alan Davidson put the ball in the net for the Sky Blues in the 62nd minute. Six minutes later, his teammate midfielder Gary Thompson scored a second goal.
Ballymena United and Linfield will go on to face each other in the final. Linfield have won the Co Antrim Shield 43 times, while Ballymena United have held the title four times.
Last year's winners Cliftonville crashed out of the competition at the quarter-final stage.
