Reports in the Italian press claim the 29-year-old was picked up by the taxi at around 2am on Sunday in Treviso.
The driver said his passenger was "not able to stand up" and the Ulster hooker "started to spit in the car". It is alleged he then began to urinate in the taxi.
When he got out of the vehicle, it is claimed Liverpool-born Kyriacou kicked and punched the taxi.
Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin said: "We are aware that following Ulster's away Pro12 match at Treviso last Saturday, Andi Kyriacou was involved in an off-field incident.
"The issue has now been deal with through our internal disciplinary process.
"Andi has accepted the disciplinary action," he added.
An Ulster rugby spkesman confirmed that Kyriacou has been suspended for one match and will not be part of the Pro12 team against Aironi at Ravenhill on Friday.
