Jeffrey hits out at 'stupid' laser fan
Linfield manager David Jeffrey has slammed the "idiotic" Glentoran fan who shone a laser pen in his eye during Tuesday night's Big Two draw.

"I'm not going to be apologetic in any way... sick and sad individual," David Jeffrey told UTV's Neil Brittain after the match.
Jeffrey claims he has been the victim of similar incidents three times this season, both at the Oval and at Windsor Park.
"We played here (at the Oval) earlier this season and for 45 minutes I had a laser pen shone in my eye. When we played at Windsor Park, from the stand where the Glentoran fans were, again laser pen in my eye."
"What possesses him? I do not know", Jeffrey told UTV.
"That's totally and utterly idiotic, pathetic and stupid".
The Blues manager, who says the fan responsible "was not a youngster from what I could see", has called on Glentoran and the IFA to investigate the incident.
Jeffrey admitted he was "bitterly disappointed" with Tuesday night's draw after Gary Hamilton spared Glentoran from defeat with a last gasp equaliser at the Oval.
The Glens hitman struck in the 88th minute to earn a point for the champions, sending them back to the top of the Carling Premiership.
Jeffrey praised the performances of club captain Noel Bailie and William Murphy in the centre of defence, who were recalled in place of Kris Lindsay and Stephen Douglas.
"They're not two young boys, but what I did feel in the last couple of games was that, as a team, we lacked the leadership that Noel and William can give and that additional experience."
The south Belfast club has had a run of poor results, taking only two points out of a possible 15 in recent weeks.
But Jeffrey, who has been in charge for 13 years, told UTV the focus was now on Saturday's game with Newry City, insisting his hunger and appetite were still "very much there".
"Football managers live and die by results."
"We wanted three points. We didn't get three points but it was a decent performance", Jeffrey told UTV.
"There's not a chance of me resigning", he said.
"I want to be at Linfield for as long as can possibly be but I don't want to be at the club for a day longer than I should be. Any decision about my future is in the hands of other people".
