Irvine wins bronze in Netherlands

Martyn Irvine has won bronze at the European Track Championships in the Netherlands.

The feat was made all the more remarkable as it comes just seven months after he fractured his thigh bone in a crash.
The Newtownards cyclist won Saturday's points race in the omnium event and then, kept pace in Sunday's action.
Russian Victor Manakov won gold, with Dutchman Tim Veldt finishing runner-up.
Earlier this year, in Belarus, Irvine became the first Irishman to win a World Track Championship cycling gold medal in 117 years.
