Henry has been called into the squad before but it's a first for scrum half Paul Marshall who has been in fine form this season.
Ireland warmed up for their tour on Tuesday night against the Barbarians and narrowly lost by one point.
Ulster's Craig Gilroy scored two tries during the match and he's now on the squad's stand by list.
Several places in the squad had been left unfilled as players were given further time to prove their fitness against the Barbarians.
Connacht's Brett Wilkinson has beaten recent injury concerns and will take his place among the forwards.
While his provincial team-mate Mike McCarthy will travel to New Zealand as precautionary cover for Paul O'Connell who is battling a knee injury.
On Friday, a final decision will be made on O'Connell's participation in the tour.
Two further uncapped players will be making the trip - scrum half Paul Marshall and prop Ronan Loughney.
The squad will leave London for New Zealand on Thursday morning and will face the All Blacks in the first Test at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday 9 June.
