Institute 2 - 2 Coleraine
The big striker who has been out for over six months grabbed the leveller, after goals from Rory Patterson and Darren Boyce gave the Bannsiders the lead.
Institute started brightly and went close to opening the scoring after four minutes when Sean Friars' left wing corner was glanced on by David Ogilby, but Declan Divin's drive at the back post was straight at Davy O'Hare.
Another delivery into the visitor's box minutes later, this time Ryan Semple's right wing centre found Divin, but once again his well hit drive was kept out by the alert O'Hare.
The deadlock was broken on 24 minutes, somewhat against the run of the play, following a tremendous flowing move.
Boyce easily skipped away from Mark Scoltock, before cutting in towards the 'Stute box and passing to Patterson and the in-form striker made no mistake side footing home his 14th league goal of the season.
To their credit the home side levelled things five minutes later, after some quick thinking by Friars.
The midfielder took a quick free-kick on the edge of the box to find Austin Friel, who was only starting the game because Kevin Ramsey missed out through suspension, and the front man blasted home from 12 yards.
Right on the stroke of half-time Gavin Cullen came to his side's rescue when Boyce's close range shot was superbly tipped over by the keeper after Scoltock and Ogilby failed to clear Eunan O'Kane's pass.
John Gregg's side missed a golden opportunity to take the lead on 57 minutes when substitute Jason Blackburn somehow headed over from six yards, after a goal mouth scramble.
Ten minutes from time the Bannsiders took the lead when Patterson's low cross from the right was slide into the net by Boyce.
Despite Boyce's goal 'Stute kept going and they were inches away from levelling things in the 88th minute when Sean Friars' free-kick found Scoltock, but the centre-back's powerful header was superbly kept out by O'Hare.
Then right at the death Ruairi Boyle's high ball into the box found substitute Stephen Parkhouse and his looping header sailed over O'Hare and into the net.
