The Armoy native has secured her place by claiming one of the two remaining spots on offer in the women's K1 Canoe Slalom at the European Championships in Germany on Friday.
The two spots were available to nations who hadn't already qualified through the World championships last year.
Craig finished 25th overall on Friday, which was good enough to secure the London spot.
She said: "What was always important to me was the opportunity to compete, I really love my sport and qualifying for the London 2012 Olympics will give me the chance to raise the profile of what is a hugely exciting sport.
"I am proud that I performed on the day and that I know I can perform on a word stage. I am proud to be an Irish athlete and I can't wait for the Games."
