The first semi-final will take place at Windsor Park on Tuesday 2 February.
Alan McDonald's side reached the final four after knocking Big Two rivals Linfield last week.
And as UTV got the thoughts of those involved in the last four, McDonald said it was a case of familiar adversaries clashing again.
"It seems every time Glentoran and Portadown are in a cup draw, we are paired with each other, we attract each other like magnets," he said.
"It is a mouth-watering tie for the neutral and it will be a difficult game."
Portadown Assistant Manager Kieran Harding said there had been a feeling in the club that they had be paired with the Glens.
"We said at the weekend, it will be Glentoran and it is a draw of two big clubs.
"We know it will be a difficult ask, but hopefully we can beat them."
The following evening, battling to join one of them in the final, will be Coleraine and Dungannon Swifts.
Swifts boss Dixie Robinson was pleased with the tie.
"I'm happy simply because we are in the semi-final.
"Coleraine will be a tough game but it is all about who plays best on the day."
Stephen Carson of the Bannsiders said it was a draw they are pleased with.
That game will be played at Glentoran's ground, the Oval.
"On the big wide pitch it should be a good entertaining game, because both teams can play good football."
The final will be played on Saturday, 27 March.
