Glenavon got a much needed win after a dominating display over Newry City.
Glenavon 1 - 0 Newry City
Hugh Dickson scored the winner in Glenavon's first victory in 12 games.
The Lurgan Blues dominated throughout the 90 minutes.
In the first half Glenavon were unfortunate not to have gone into the break ahead with James Costello and Ryan Harpur having the best of the chances.
A ball into the box by Ruairi Devlin wasn't cleared by the Glenavon back line and with Andrew Plummer closing down Andy Graham nipped in to flick the ball past keeper, but also past the far post.
In the second half Glenavon hit the bar twice in a row with Harpur and Trevor Molloy coming close.
The deadlock finally was broken on 65 minutes, Harpur's corner headed home by former Linfield defender Dickson.
