The Giant's result avenged a 5-2 defeat by the English side on Friday night at the same venue.
Noah Clarke put Doug Christiansen's side ahead and after Adam Henrich had equalised further goals followed from Matt Towe and Chad Langlais to make it 3-1 at the end of the first period.
Dustin Cameron scored the only goal in the next 20 minutes as Coventry pulled one back.
But Clarke, with his second of the night, Gareth Roberts, Craig Peacock and Daymen Rycroft, who got two, were all on the mark for the Giants in the final period to complete an easy win.
Saturday's game saw new signing Chad Langlais take Man of the Match for his effort.
Coach Doug Christiansen said that he overall he was not pleased with the weekend but he was pleased with Saturday's game.
"One of the things we tried to do tonight was be the initiator- be physical, go to the net, try to draw them into penalties" he said.
"We clearly were able to do that over the course of the game. The guys really responded."
