Giants bow out Challenge cup
The Belfast Giants' Elite League title hopes took a big hit on Wednesday night when they crashed 4-0 in Cardiff.

Cardiff Devils 4 - 0 Belfast Giants

The Devils took the lead on the powerplay at 5:49 through Ryan Finnerty.

At 10:48 it was double trouble for the Giants, Brad Voth netting to make it 2-0.

Cardiff stretched their lead at 13:53 when Phil Hill scored with an unassisted goal.

Mark Smith then scored late on to make it four and cap the Giants misery.

The Giants next game is tomorrow night when they host Sheffield Steelers.
