The Elite League champions already led 5-0 from the first leg on Saturday and they soon took a tighter grip when Aaron Clarke netted a double.

Mark Garside and Craig Peacock were also on target in the first period, before Darryl Lloyd and Robert Dowd scored in the second period.

Mike Hoffman, Gareth Roberts and Dowd then completed the rout to leave the Giants 14-0 up on aggregate.

In next weekend's semi-finals in Nottingham, the Giants will face Cardiff Devils, who beat Coventry Blaze 4-1 in their second leg on Sunday having drawn the first leg 3-3.

Also in the final four are the Nottingham Panthers who will face the Hull Stingrays at home next weekend.
