The Belfast Giants prepare for the Challenge Cup Semi Final in january
The second leg of the Challenge Cup Semi-Final for the LBM Belfast Giants is set for 20 January at the Dundonald Ice Bowl.

"We won the Challenge Cup a year ago and we have a tough road through the Devils to get there but we know this team has the ability to win it again," said Giants manager Steve Thornton.

"The Ice Bowl can be an intimidating building to come into for opposing teams and we expect to have it packed out for the semi-final against the Devils."

Last season, the Giants hosted the first Challenge Cup in Franchise History and followed that up with victory in the Knock Out Cup.

"This is one of three major pieces of Silverware this season, and we want to win them all. We have a job to do in Cardiff on December 16th in the first leg, but we believe that we have what it takes to advance to the final."
