A man of the match performance from netminder Stephen Murphy ensured the shutout keeps the pressure on Elite League Leaders the Nottingham Panthers.

It was also the Giants' sixth victory in a row and Andrew Fournier starred for them with a brace.

The Giants won 5-4 against Cardiff Devils in the first of the weekend's double-header with the Welsh side on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Panthers put 10 past the Fife Flyers on Saturday to maintain their two point lead at the top of the Elite League.
