League leaders Belfast Giants take on the Coventry Blaze in a top of the table clash at the Odyssey Arena on Saturday.
In two meetings this season, the Giants have failed to take a single point off the Blaze, dropping two games by score lines of 2-1 and 5-4, both of which have been played in Belfast.
"It's a huge game for us. There's been a lot of build-up for this one for the last couple of weeks", Coach Steve Thornton told UTV.
"It's always been in the back of our heads, as they've beaten us twice here at home.
"We felt like we outplayed them and we let ourselves down, so it's time for us to find a way to win against that team."
The Giants have three players in the top ten scorers in the league (Shields, Benedict, Cheverie) as do the Blaze (Chambers, Calder, Fulghum).
The two starting goalies are in the top two in save percentage (Belfast - Murphy 93.4%, Coventry - Hirsch 91.9%) and only Nottingham's starting goalie has more wins than either Murphy (16 wins) or Hirsch (18 wins).
Since they met last, both teams have eight league wins, with the Blaze going 8-3 and the Giants going 8-2 since their clash in Belfast last November.
Last weekend the Giants rattled 11 goals past Newcastle, and earlier this month scored eight against Edinburgh.
