The 6-2 win at the Odyssey Arena on Friday night was the Giants sixth in succession.

Robert Dowd scored twice as a ruthless offence led by Aaron Clarke dominated the Capitals, outshooting them by a massive 42 shots to 11.

After 20 minutes the scores were tied at 1-1 but an offensive onslaught from the Giants in the second period was enough to secure victory.

The Belfast side will look to extend their run when they host the Nottingham Panthers at the Odyssey on Saturday evening.
