The team was beaten twice in 24 hours, losing 4-1 on Saturday to fierce rivals Braehead Clan and 4-3 to Coventry Blaze in a penalty shoot-out on Sunday.
"Last weekend was our worst of the season," Christiansen reflected.
"We had fantastic away support against Braehead but we played very poorly for the last half of the first period and Braehead shut us down after that.
One point of four on the road is not acceptable for this team.

"We made some horrible mental mistakes and it cost us.
"On Sunday we played with passion and intensity I have come to expect from this team. I am not pleased with the loss but the team fought back against all odds to get the game tied.
"The team competed and, as a coach, I am pleased with their effort."
Coach Christiansen thanked the fans who turned out at the Braehead game and added a "great rivalry" has developed between the two teams.
He said: "I would like to personally thank all of the fans who made the trip to Braehead.
"Every fan knows that the outcome of a game is uncertain when the puck drops but I wish we would have given you more to cheer about.
"This Giants team plays with passion and intensity but against Braehead we did not compete to the best of our ability.
"Despite the result, I hope you enjoyed your trip. It is becoming a great rivalry and we will get our revenge."
The Giants host the Fife Flyers and Cardiff Devils on Friday and Saturday respectively.
