The team blanked Fife as Stephen Murphy recorded his fourth shutout of the campaign as he turned away the 14 shots that he faced.
Garrett Zemlak in the home goal had a busy nights work as he faced a total of 40 shots. However, he held out until the third period before the Giants could find a way past him.
After the first two periods had ended goalless, the visitors finally got a breakthrough at 44.17 as George Awada found a way past the impressive Zemlak. The Giants doubled their lead at 51.21 with a strike from Aaron Clarke.
The Flyers pulled the goaltender at 58.43 in an effort to get something out the game but Robert Dowd found the empty net with five seconds remaining.
