Cardiff Devils 3 - 4 Belfast Giants

The Giants were 2-0 up in the first five minutes with goals from Jon Gleed and Mark Garside.

But by the end of the period the hosts were level as Max Birbraer and Kenton Smith were on target.

Tim Cook restored the visitors' lead with a powerplay goal but Devils player-coach Gerad Adams levelled matters once again.

Brett Hemingway then sealed the win for Belfast with a third-period goal.

In the other games, Nottingham Panthers won 7-4 away to Coventry Blaze and Sheffield Steelers triumphed 6-0 at Dundee Stars.
