The Belfast Giants did their bit for community relations as they hosted the Junior Giants and Dundalk Bulls on the ice of the Odyssey Arena.
EU funding played a large part in the plan to get children from both sides of the border on the ice together in a bid to "build community relations and develop peaceful stable society through sport".
Nearly 200 children are now involved in a league that will pit sides from North and South together with them getting the chance to play in front of the Giants fans on Saturday night during their Elite league match with the Nottingham Panthers.
The collaboration was made possible through the provision of PEACE III.
