Ulster Rugby has confirmed Wallace has a muscle tear in his leg and will be out for up to three weeks.

The centre had only returned from a nine-month lay-off with an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

However, Iain Henderson, Chris Henry and Nick Williams could all feature in Friday night's inter-provincial match against Munster at Ravenhill.

Johann Muller will also be available for selection having been rested for the Leinster match at the RDS last Saturday evening.

Luke Marshall, Andrew Trimble, Darren Cave and Rob Herring all suffered soft tissue injuries in that game.

All four are responding well to treatment and are expected to be available for selection for the game against Munster.

Rory Best and Tommy Bowe are recovering well from their injuries and continue to be assessed to determine when they will be able to return to play.
