Paddy O'Rourke's first competitive game in charge of Armagh will be against Fermanagh for their Dr McKenna Cup curtain raiser in January.
James McCarten, the other newcomer to management in Ulster, will make a bow with Down on the same day against Derry.
Tyrone will face Cavan in their opening game at Healy Park.
The launch of the 2010 Dr McKenna Cup took place in the Armagh City Hotel.
"We look forward to the beginning of our Inter County programme for 2010 and an exciting and entertaining month of Barrett Sports Lighting Dr McKenna Cup action in January. I wish all teams well," Ulster GAA President Tom Daly said.
This year's opener will be held on Saturday 10 January.
The tournament will run on a round robin basis before going into knock-out in the last four, with the final due to take place on the 30th of January.
