Fans meet stars at Ulster kit launch

Ulster fans got a chance to get up close and personal with the new signings as the club launched its new kit at the Kingspan Stadium in Belfast.

Tommy Bowe received almost as much attention as Ulster's new jersey at Wednesday night's event.

The Ulster, Ireland and Lions winger is keen to prove himself in this new season after being hampered by injury. He underwent surgery over the summer on a groin problem.

The province has come through something of an upheaval of late with the departures of both coach Mark Anscombe and director of rugby David Humphreys.

Although Bowe is impressed by new boss Les Kiss, he's keen to play down any talk of morale being low at Ulster HQ.

Speaking to UTV, the winger said: "It was obviously a bit of a shock over the couple of weeks at summer time but we've come back into a very healthy squad. There's some new additions to the team, I think that the squad is as strong as it's ever going to be and has ever been."

The new Ulster kit will be worn for the first time on 22 August when they play Exeter Chiefs in a pre-season friendly in Belfast, in what is set to be a new dawn for Ulster this season.
