It has been confirmed that the East Tier seating will be put in place for the first time this year, taking the arena capacity to 7,000.
The Giants were disappointed to miss out on taking home the Challenge Cup when they lost out 10-4 on aggregate to the Nottingham Panthers, but are determined not to let their lead at the top of the league table slip.
The Belfast side have narrowly missed out on the Elite crown by a point two years running, so will be hoping it's a case of third time lucky.
First though, they face the Steelers on both Friday and Saturday night and then take on the Panthers again a week later.
The Giants currently lead the table on 89 points, seven clear of nearest rivals the Steelers - but the Sheffield side still have two games in hand.
