The Irish FA has announced that 545 extra seats are being made available for this month's Irn Bru League cup final between Coleraine and Crusaders, after reviewing arrangements with the clubs.

Coleraine have already sold their allocation of 1,750 tickets and Crusaders have very few tickets left from their total of 1,300.

The decider is scheduled to be played at Ballymena Showgrounds on Saturday 28 January and the Irish FA has now confirmed the addition of temporary seating to accommodate more Coleraine supporters at the venue.

The decision was taken following a meeting with the clubs, and the help of Coleraine Chairman Colin McKendry and their Club sponsor, TBF Thompson.

Hugh Wade, Chairman of the Irish FA Premiership Committee, said: "I am delighted that these temporary seats have been given the green light, and I must thank TBF Thompson and Colin McKendry who have provided financial backing for this.

"Hundreds of Coleraine fans were disappointed at not getting a ticket but these additional seats allow over 500 more fans to be at the Ballymena Showgrounds for the final."
