Dublin have beaten Kerry in dramatic fashion to win the All-Ireland title at Croke Park by a single point.

Goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton was the hero as he converted a winning free in injury time to seal the victory on Sunday.

Kerry scored a superb goal after 17 minutes, with Colm Cooper providing the finish, but Dublin led by 6 points to a 1-2 at the break.

Cooper tied the scores in the second half, and Kerry went four points ahead before substitute Kevin McManaman scored a 64th-minute goal for Dublin.

The teams were level as the game went into stoppage time, but Dublin keeper Stephen Cluxton stepped up to convert the free which clinched the win and ensured that the Dubs claimed the Sam Maguire for the first time since 1995.
