Plenty of school boys may long to line up with the Manchester United squad or maybe lead their side to victory over the famous Reds - but for one Co Tyrone teen, that dream has become reality.

Young Liverpool fan Jamie Glackin has made a little bit of history after his Tyrone team became the first county side to beat Man United since the Milk Cup tournament started 30 years ago.

Under-dogs Tyrone ran out the 2-0 winners in Castlederg on Saturday, with Jamie also sending a 30-yard shot into the top corner to net the first of their goals.

And the team have been milking their big win for all it's worth!

"Being a Liverpool fan makes it that much better, playing against Man United," Jamie said ahead of the game.

"Everyone who knows about football obviously knows about Man United and how big they are."

And afterwards?

"Absolutely buzzing - words can't describe it," he grinned.

Well done the lads from Tyrone,a great result.I still maintain that there is plenty of good young footballers herein NI all we need is the right coaches to bring that talent to the fore.
