Double win for Laverty in Jerez

Eugene Laverty secured a memorable double win in Sunday's final round of the World Superbikes at Jerez, Spain.

The action also saw Englishman Tom Sykes clinch the Championship title.
Toomebridge rider Laverty brilliantly overtook Marco Melandri to win the opener.
Sykes' third placed-finish was enough to win the title.
Laverty, 27, took second in the series, 28 points off Sykes.
The Co Antrim man has been linked with a Grand Prix return where he had two seasons in 2007 and 2008.
