Institute 2 - 3 Distillery
A super second half display ensured the Whites left Drumahoe with three points and also secured back-to-back wins for the first time this campaign.
Institute took the lead after just three minutes when Kevin Ramsey blasted home side sixth goal of the campaign.
The front man controlled the ball before seeing his 25-yard drive flew past a flat footed Philip Mathews.
Distillery went close to equalising on 37-minutes but Peter McCann's super shot on the half-volley was kept out a flying Gavin Cullen.
The Whites did level things on 51 minutes when Neal Gawley's low drive from the edge of the box, after 'Stute failed to clear their lines, somehow found Cullen's bottom right hand corner.
Tommy Wright's side deservedly took the lead seven minutes later when Ferguson showed great skill to set-up substitute Gary Thompson and he gleefully side footed home from close range.
The home side levelled things on 62 minutes from the penalty spot after Ferguson charged down Ruairi Boyle's close range shot with his hand Ramsey made no mistake from 12 yards.
Distillery scored what turned out to be the winner in the 71st minute when more poor defending by the home side saw an unmarked Thompson chest the ball down and fire home from 10 yards.
Seven minutes from time Ramsey was inches away from completing his hat-trick but his toe poke effort, which went through keeper Mathews' leg, was booted off the line by left-back Pat McShane.
Right at the death John Gregg's side were reduced to ten men when keeper Cullen was shown a straight red card by referee Trevor Moutray, for handling the ball outside his area.
