Derry have denied claims that star forward Paddy Bradley has quit the county panel.
Rumours were rife on Monday that the 28-year-old had opted to walk away ahead of the Oak Leaf county's meeting with Monaghan on Saturday, citing personal problems and frustration at a lack of form.
He was also said to have been unhappy with an alleged decision to remove him from his favoured full-forward role.
However, the county released a statement on Tuesday morning claiming that Bradley was still involved.
"Derry Senior football team management and players wish to end unsubstantiated rumours escalating in the media that Paddy Bradley has left the Derry Senior football panel.
"Such rumours are totally unfounded and without substance."
The statement went on to say: "Paddy Bradley completed a full training session with the team on Sunday morning and will resume training on Tuesday night.
"We trust this terminates any speculation escalating in the public domain, and that management and players are enabled to concentrate on their sole focus of the qualifier game taking place on Saturday."
