The 25-year-old, who is their first major signing this year, is now set to compete in the North West 200, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix.

"I'm over the moon at joining the team - it's a dream come true for me, because I've wanted on this team for the last few years," Cummins told UTV.

The boys I’ll be working with are top class - we have a really good team this year and we're all expecting big things.

The rider was involved in a high-speed crash in the Senior TT race on the Isle of Man in 2010, but is now fully recovered and ready for action.

"I've put the crash and everything that happened there to bed and now I just can't wait to get going again," he said.

"I can't wait to get started racing for the team at the North West 200 - it took some time getting back my physical fitness, but I am in good shape now," he said.

Cummins will be partnered in the TAS racing team by Lincolnshire rider Guy Martin, with Carrick British Superbike rider Alastair Seeley joining them for the North West 200.
