Co Antrim kayak slalom star Hannah Craig's chances of winning a medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games are over.

Craig finished 10th in the K1 Women's Final on Thursday afternoon.

The Armoy woman picked up a couple of penalties during her run, posting a disappointing time.

The first Olympic competitor from Armoy "Steve McCooke Born: September 4, 1918 in Armoy did not take up distance running until his mid-20s, when he took up running as a way to train for boxing. He joined the East Antrim Harriers in Ballyclare, and trained with them twice a week, despite a 75-mile bicycle trip he had to make. In 2002 he was inducted into Newtown Abbey Councils' Sporting Hall of Fame".Ran in the men's 10000 meters London Olympics 1948
