Cliftonville 1 - 0 Dungannon Swifts
The Reds leapfrogged their opponents thanks to Kieran O'Connor's late goal, which leaves them six points behind league leaders Crusaders but with two home games in hand.
The first-half was something of a non-event with Ryan McIlmoyle's clever post-striking effort the only real incident of note ahead of a vastly more entertaining second period.
After home keeper John Connolly had got down well to deny Adam McMinn, opposite number Alvin Rouse produced a fine stop to keep O'Connor from breaking the deadlock just 60 seconds before Liam Boyce went agonisingly close to connecting with Ciaran Caldwell's low cross.
Rouse also made a stop from George McMullan as the clock ticked down, but Cliftonville finally made the breakthrough seven minutes from time when McMinn failed to clear Liam Fleming's delivery and O'Connor struck a left-footed effort high into the net.
