Northern Ireland golfer Darren Clarke is just two shots off the lead after three rounds of the Avantha Masters in New Delhi.
Clarke carded a third round of 70 to move to 9 under par with seven players tied for the lead on 11 under.
He made the turn in 1 under par after a birdie on the par five 6th, made up for a birdie bogey run on the second and third holes.
Clarke got his back nine off to the perfect start picking up a shot at the tenth before recording back to back birdies on the 14th and 15th holes.
The Dungannon man's hard work was undone however on the way home as a bogey on the 16th was followed by another at the par five 18th.
Gareth Maybin also carded a third round of 70 to move to 7 under par. The Ballyclare man had a slightly less erratic round with three birdies and single bogey.
Padraig Harrington meanwhile, carded a five under par 67 in the second round at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am to lie at eight under par for the tournament, two strokes behind the leading pack.
A group of six players are tied for the lead on ten under par, with defending champion Dustin Johnson amongst them.
