The Giants secured the title with an emphatic 5-1 victory over second-placed Sheffield Steelers in the first of a double-header clash at the Odyssey Arena.
On Saturday night the Giants extended their current winning streak to 16 games, with another victory over the Steelers.
The visitors netted two powerplay goals to give the travelling fans some cheer, but a brace from Craig Peacock and strikes from Jeremy Rebek, Gareth Roberts and Jon Pelle were enough to secure a comfortable 5-2 victory.
The Giants and their fans were also presented with the coveted trophy, which returned to Belfast for the first time since 2006.
On Friday night, coach Doug Christiansen explained: "The one thing that this team has is heart, you see it every single night, you saw it all year, you saw it on the road and you saw it on practice. As a coach the leadership on this team carried it and I am very fortunate to have been able to be a part of it."
