League champions the Belfast Giants have racked up a second consecutive win in as many days over the Nottingham Panthers.

Darryl Lloyd, Kevin Saurette, Jeffrey Szwez, Jeff Mason and Chris Higgins were all on target for the home side at the Odyssey Arena on Saturday evening.

It proved too much for the Panthers, who scored two goals via Petr Kalus and one from Leigh Salters but went down 5-3 in a repeat of Friday's Challenge Cup result.

The sides will meet again in Nottingham on Tuesday for the Cup final, with Giants 5-2 up.

Meanwhile in the other league games, Fyfe claimed a claimed a dramatic 5-4 penalty shot win over Braehead, the Steelers beat Coventry 2-0 and Dundee won 3-1 against Edinburgh.
