Former Tyrone All-Star Peter Canavan is expected to become the next manager of Fermanagh.

Canavan, who won an All-Ireland title with Tyrone in 2003, is being interviewed as the county seek a successor to John O'Neill.

Canavan recently resigned from his post as Errigal Ciaran manager.

It could be next week before the appointment is confirmed.

What brilliant news tonight, lets hope he is elected, he deserves this post for what he has given to Ulster and Tyrone football. A true gentleman. No better person for the job.
