Burren are through to the final of the AIB Ulster Club Championship, after the Down side defeated Latton by 1-10 to 0-11 on Sunday.

Shay McArdle scored the game's only goal taking his team to a 1-4 to 0-6 lead against the Monaghan players.

Burren were strong in the second half, during which Eoin McCartan was handed a late dismissal for a high tackle.

Latton's half time advantage was overtaken by Burren's two point lead, with Conal McGovern scoring three of the side's six opening points.

The Monaghan men tried to fight back with Owen Duffy scoring two points but Shane Coyle missed out on the chance for a goal, enforcing the gap between the teams.

Burren will face Crossmaglen in the Championship final on next Sunday.

The Cross boys will wipe the floor with Burren. On a good day The Rangers would crucify them, on a bad day, beat them handy enought. I've seen both these teams play and Cross are light years ahead. Sorry Burren, no contest!
