Match official Chris Broad will return to cricket on Wednesday for the first time since being caught up in the centre of a terrorists attack in Lahore four weeks ago.
The Englishman will referee three matches on the opening day of the World Cup Qualifier taking place in South Africa.
The 51-year-old was travelling with the other match officials to day three of the second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Gaddafi Stadium when an attack on the visiting team bus occurred.
Broad and umpires Simon Taufel and Steve Davis emerged unscathed from the incident, in which the driver of their vehicle was killed.
Six policemen also died in the incident, while local umpire Ahsan Raza suffered a bullet wound to his stomach and seven Sri Lankan players as well as assistant coach Paul Farbrace suffered injuries.
The former England batsman has since been quite outspoken about the incident, describing it as "an unthinkable thing to have happened", while adding that he may even consider counselling.
Broad will take charge of the game between Scotland and Ireland in Benoni, Canada versus Oman in Pretoria and Namibia against Uganda in Krugersdorp.
He will also officiate in all four of the other match days during the opening round of the 19-day tournament.
