Mark Anscombe's men have now opened up an 11-point lead at the top after clinching their 12th victory in 13 games.
Andrew Trimble scored one of Ulster's five tries - all in the second half - in front of the ecstatic home crowd on Friday night.
Robbie Diack, Nick Williams and Neil McComb also scored on top of a penalty try, while Ruan Pienaar kicked four penalties and two conversions on his 50th appearance.
Josh Turnbull and Scott Williams scored for the visitors, who also saw George North stretchered off the pitch after he suffered a blow to the head in an accidental collision.
The winger was taken to hospital with what appears to be a neck injury.
Ulster lost full-back Adam D'Arcy to injury during the game and Dan Tuohy also limped off.
The injuries come as Ulster now face a crucial European fortnight in the Heineken Cup.
