Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin has named a 30-man provisional squad ahead of Friday's game away to Glasgow Warriors - minus World Cup stars Rory Best and Stephen Ferris.

The Ireland duo will be rested after a congested fixture period, but McLaughlin hopes to welcome back injury doubts Luke Marshall and Jerry Cronin after a period on the sidelines.

They've been out with jaw and neck injuries respectively.

Both sides emerge from a Heineken Cup double-header with a win and a defeat. Ulster are in 7th position in the RaboDirect PRO 12, 5 points behind the Warriors.

Ulster will play Glasgow Warriors on Friday November 25 at the Firhill Stadium, with kick-off at 7.35pm.

Ulster: (Forwards) Paddy McAllister, Callum Black, Tom Court, Adam Macklin, Declan Fitzpatrick, Jerry Cronin, Andi Kyriacou, Nigel Brady, Lewis Stevenson, Johann Muller, Dan Tuohy, Tim Barker, Neil McComb, Michael McComish, Pedrie Wannenburg, Willie Faloon, Chris Henry, Robbie Diack. (Backs) Paul Marshall, Ian Porter, Ian Humphreys, Paddy Jackson, Nevin Spence, Luke Marshall, Ian Whitten, Darren Cave, Craig Gilroy, Simon Danielli, Andrew Trimble, Adam D'Arcy.
