As with Saturday night's game, the Giants were first to open the scoring courtesy of Will Colbert.
But an Edinburgh powerplay quickly put the hosts back level, only for the Giants to net an equally swift second through Scott Champagne.
It was Darryl Lloyd who found the net in the second period for Belfast's third goal of the night.
And in the third period, Noah Clarke scored a fourth off Mark Garside's rebounded shot and the game ended 4-1 to the Giants.
The Belfast side were again missing the services of injured Andrew Fournier and Rob Sandrock, while Craig Peacock was also out after requiring 29 stitches for a gash to the face picked up against Fife.
