The Belfast Giants fell to their second Elite League defeat of the weekend on Sunday against Newcastle Vipers.
Just one goal in the first period and another in the second handed the win to the home side and left the Giants disappointed.
The game saw the Vipers bounce back well from their loss in Nottingham on Saturday night to post the first shut-out of the season.
Goal tender Michel Robinson was in outstanding form as he saved all 35 Belfast Giants shots.
It came after Saturday's narrow defeat for the Giants at the hands of Coventry Blaze at the Odyssey Arena.
The home side battled back from two goals down in that game, but left it too late and missed out by five goals to four.
