Belfast boxer Paddy Barnes has retained his Irish Senior Light Flyweight title at the National Stadium in Dublin.

Barnes beat Jimmy Moore 8-1 in Friday night's final to claim his fourth successive title.

Barnes represented Ireland at the Olympic games in Beijing in 2009, claiming a bronze medal, and is ranked ninth in the world.

There was also success for Olympic silver medalist Kenny Egan on Friday night as he claimed his 10th straight Irish title, defeating Belfast's Tommy McCarthy 8-5 at light heavyweight.

Five more Irish title fights will take place on Saturday night.
