Armagh 0-12 Kildare 0-05
The Orchard men now lie second in Division Two on six points, one behind neighbours Down as the league race hots up.
Stefan Forker fired four points from play as Armagh dominated in every position on the field to set up an all-Ulster top of the table Division Two clash with Down at Pairc Esler next Saturday night.
Kieran Toner was a colossus for Armagh at midfield winning his personal dual with Dermot Earley.
Armagh restricted Kildare to just three points from play in an awesome defensive display.
Ciaran McKeever marshalled the defence expertly from centre half back against a sluggish Kildare attack that misfired all day.
Aaron Kernan did enough at centre half forward, pulling the strings intelligently to suggest he has a future in the role for Armagh.
Midfield man James Lavery was forced to pull out of the side before the game with a hamstring strain, but Ronan Austin was a fine replacement as Armagh ruled the roost.
There were also major contributions from Paul Kernan and Paul Duffy at the back while Steven McDonnell was always a threat up front even if he didn't hit the heights of his recent 1-9 effort against Westmeath.
