An under-strength Armagh side did well to draw 0-10 to 1-7 with Cork in Sunday's Allianz National League Division One game at the Athletic Grounds.

Paul Kerrigan's first half goal helped the Rebels into a 1-3 to 0-1 lead by the 24th minute.

But he blotted his copybook when he was shown a red card shortly afterwards allowing Armagh to regroup.

Paddy O'Rourke's side capitalised on the extra man as they hit seven points without reply in the second half.

Cork led again and it seemed they would hold on for the win only for Brian Mallon to send over a late equalising point.

In the Division Two game at Celtic Park, Derry lost by four points to Galway, 1-15 to 1-11.

Caolan O'Boyle scored a goal to help Derry into a 1-3 to 0-3 lead but Gareth Bradshaw found the net as the Tribesmen built up a 1-8 to 1-4 half time lead which they never relinquished.
